彼楼 Speak Low
我应该会在彼楼的楼上开始我的酒吧之夜。他们的每一款酒、制作过程和呈现方式都是无懈可击的。日式调酒风格让你不得不叹服。
I would probably start the evening upstairs at Speak Low. Each of their cocktails, preparations and presentations is immaculate. You have to be impressed with the Japanese influence.




萨伏伊酒店的美利坚吧 The American Bar at The Savoy Hotel

我从来没去过伦敦萨伏伊酒店,但我非常愿意去研读他们的酒单,并且见识一下里面调酒师的水准。

I have never had the chance to visit The Savoy in London but I would be happy to just peruse the menu and watch the quality of the bartenders.

 

另一家我始终想去拜访的传奇酒吧是纽约Employees Only。如果一个地方可以让员工自愿把它的名字纹在身上,那一定非常值得一去。

Another legend that I aspire to visit is Employees Only in New York. Any place that has the quality to inspire their staff to voluntarily tattoo their place of employment on their body must be amazing.



 

回到家乡温哥华,轮流去我最爱的几家酒吧看看:The Diamond——经典;Notturno——天马行空;The Keefer——氛围绝佳。

Home to Vancouver for a little crawl at some of my favourites: The Diamond – classic; Notturno – inventive; The Keefer – great atmosphere.




 

酒池星座1号店 Constellation 1

最后回到我在上海最初的至爱——酒池星座1号店。它曾是我最喜欢去的头号鸡尾酒吧。我会点一杯简单的东西来喝:莫斯科骡子、特其拉酸酒、或是灰雁伏特加汤力水。

I’d go back to my original favourite in Shanghai, Constellation 1. That was my original favourite cocktail place. I’d have a simple drink: a Moscow Mule, a Tequila Sour or even a Grey Goose Tonic.
